Not easy to install, absolutely need two people,
some parts & hardware were missing

Great concept but hard to install & it soon broke
Sliding screen was what I needed but my contractor found it difficult to install. It was supposed to retract when touched, but a dog ran through it and broke it. My contractor had a hard time repairing it; a piece was needed and instructions were unclear. He finally re-installed the item, but the bottom of the screen was torn away from the frame and could not be re-secured at the bottom. I probably should have tried to get a replacement rather than get the original repaired.

Easy to install
We installed an ODL patio door with enclosed blinds this summer and added the retractable screen to that. Took only a few minutes to put it on and we can keep it retracted in winter and in the summer have it open when it's warm outside and need the airflow. We had one on our old sliding door and that was great too----I found out you need to keep the track clean and when needed apply Pledge to the track to keep it moving smoothly. I really like this product.

Perfect screen
We bought this screen because we live in a HOA which has no screen doors. Well we put this on our french door and it's perfect. You can't tell that this is a retractable screen. It's perfect and we can leave our door open now with no bugs coming in. I highly recommend this product especially is you live in HOA.

solved our problem at less than half the cost
we were looking for a retractable screen door and could only find those costing $500-plus before locating the ODL screen door at our local HD. It was easy to install, works great, and is very easy to use. Would definitely recommend over many higher-priced products. Customer service was also outstanding (I made a mistake in cutting one piece, called to order a replacement, and they sent me a new part at no cost!)

Great way to let the fresh air in
My wife had been bugging me about getting a screen door for our French Doors in the back. Talked to the sales rep at a local hardware store and he showed me the retractable screens. Loved them so much we put one on every door we have (3 single and 1 double). In the spring and fall, the doors get opened as soon as my wife wakes up and only get closed after she goes to bed. The greatest thing was the ability to use two of them to cover the French Doors. Easy to install. After the first one and thinking I knew better than the instructions it only took me about 15-20 minutes a door. Great product.

Great space saver!!!
We installed this in our townhouse in FL. The install instructions were fairly good but could have been better. Nevertheless, we got it done without much trouble. It works very well and allowed us to put a screen door where we otherwise wouldn't have been able to due to space limitations. You'll love it once you get it installed!!!

Very Pleased
I purchased the retractable screen door for my husband and was a little nervous ordering it without his help. However, it was easy to decide if I had the right one and it came through as promised. We installed it together in about an hours time and love the way it opens up our front entry.
We live in Florida and only need a screen door for 4 months or so out of the year. A traditional screen door blocks the view of the front door and gets in the way for the 8 months we don't need it. With the layout of our house, we weren't getting much of a cross breeze. Now that we've installed the retractable screen door, we get a great cross breeze! Obviously, we won't have to run the air conditioner as often so it will pay for itself within a years time.
