Additional Important Notes

Quality Credit Info

  • Reason codes are set by the Quality team, led by Todd Schauder, and the ones that we have reflect our KPIs for product and service quality org-wide. They are intended to cover common defects while not being so specific as to make it difficult to choose a reason code. This is why providing images is so critical - two defects under the same reason code may look and perform differently (NOTE: every time we talk about the credit request process, we get requests for new reason codes that cover a defect that is not specifically outlined in the current reason codes. Todd will always hear the request, but is adamant about keeping them general enough so that you don't have to remember minute differences and to help the quality team bucket issues better)
  • The reason codes in the Salesforce process today are defined by the Quality team as those with the highest incidence and relevance for our customers. The Salesforce admin (Gabby Weinmann) will only update this list if directed by Quality
  • It is important to try to assign the appropriate reason code to a credit request if at all possible, as this drives our product and service excellence and continuous improvement efforts
  • Training videos on reason codes are available in LinkedIn Learning
  • If you have any questions or feedback on reason codes, please talk to your regional manager. Todd Schauder is also open to direct feedback or questions
  • Serena Bonarski provided a quick tutorial on how to add images/photos to the credit request form in the June 2021 Stay Sharp starting at time 28:19
