On June 25, 2020 we published a blog called “The BEST safety video you have EVER seen!”. We were a little over 3 months into the pandemic in the US, and we began planning for the day when we could reopen the offices safely. You could say we have been waiting to welcome our entire team back since the minute things shutdown in March 2020 (and you’d be right!).
That time is finally here. We are glad to welcome those who have been working remotely for over a year back to the offices. In the video this week I’ll give you a peek in the Zeeland office on our second day back, and we’ll discuss some kinks to work out, pleasant surprises, and the certainty of change!
We also want to talk a little about the national holiday in the US on Monday, May 31—Memorial Day. I thought back to my first memory of Memorial Day and began to wonder how the other countries in which ODL operates honor and remember the men and women of their armed forces who died in battle. I’d love to hear how you and your community pay tribute and celebrate national heroes.
