Design Inspiration

As an architect, I find myself deeply interested in the objects of everyday life – the teakettle, the table, the lamp that illuminates it. For me, architecture and design are part of the same continuum and whether I’m designing a home or an object that resides in it, I strive to create a sense of domesticity which enriches the design.

I was delighted when ODL invited us to design doorglass. We place great importance on the entrances of our buildings – whether they’re public structures or personal residences. For us, the ODL commission offers an exciting opportunity to bring a new level of sophistication to the entryways of America’s homes.
