Installation Details for Door Shops

The doorglass assembly must be wet glazed to the door slab as shown with Dow 995 structural sealant. A 1/4" minimum bead is required. Cured silicone squeeze out can be easily removed with a razor blade.

Screws
#10 x 1 3/4" flat head phillips screws and plugs are provided with doorglass. Standard doorglass screws cannot be used.

Special Note for 2'6" doors.
The frame has an aditional 1/4" coverage on both the glass and the slab. When using a 22" frame on 2'8" doors or a 20" frame on 2'6" doors, shift the cutout 1/4" toward the hinge to accomodate the lock escutcheon plate. A 20" wide frame is recommended for 2'6" doors. No cut-out shift is needed when using a 22" frame with 3'0" doors or a 20" frame with 2'8" doors.
